Meet Matt
Matt has represented northern Dakota county in the state senate since 2017. With redistricting, he will now also represent the communities of St. Paul Park, Newport, Gray Cloud Island, and part of Cottage Grove. He continues his work as a physician at Mayo Clinic-Rochester, and is a father of five young adults. His connection with patients and students guides his work at the legislature.
